Playing is one of the fastest ways to learn something new. Fun is a major component of avoiding burnout. Do you have fun at work? Does your team encourage fun and play?
Lets discuss several ways that reals teams have tried to have fun. Maybe one of them will work for your team.
Justification
Burnout is a bummer all around. It is sad for programmers, teams and companies. One way I fight burnout or fatigue is to find fun at work. I have been doing research and brainstorming to come up with ideas of how I can help all the people on my team have fun at work while still being productive.
This is not unique to just programmers so I'll take ideas from other industries and communities to give attendees a lot of small ideas of how they can make their life at work more fun and playful.
