DateTime Component using React hooks

DateTime.js

import React, { useState, useEffect } from 'react';

export const DateTime = () => {
    const [dateTime, setDateTime] = useState(new Date());

    useEffect(() => {
        const id = setInterval(() => setDateTime(new Date()), 1000);
        return () => {
            clearInterval(id);
        }
    }, []);

    return (
        <h4>{`${dateTime.toLocaleDateString()} ${dateTime.toLocaleTimeString()}`}</h4>
    );

}

sometimes when i use new Date() on react it's not working but when in use only Date() it's work but Date related other function it's not working just like dateTime.toLocaleTimeString() it's not working. i don't understand what is the problem plz help if you know
