Netgear EAX20/EAX80 Open telnet and Unlock region

Step 1

  1. Download Initial FW
  2. Upload FW to downgrade Extender

Step 2

Access www.mywifiext.net/debug.htm or <Extender IP>/debug.htm(The default is 192.168.1.250), and checked "Enable Telnet"

Step 3

  1. If you Windows does't have Telnet client enabled, enable it
  2. Open CMD, enter telnet www.mywifiext.net or telnet <Extender IP>
    • Login extender
    • Enter burnsku 0x0002
    • Exit

Step 4

Extender unlocked, now you can upgrade the FW
