Create an alias (~/.zshrc or similar):

alias chop="git branch --merged | egrep -v \"(^\*|master|main)\" | xargs git branch -d"

If you rely heavily on a develop branch for example:

alias chop="git branch --merged | egrep -v \"(^\*|master|main|develop)\" | xargs git branch -d"
