I am transitioning GPG keys away from an old smartcard-generated key to a new
set of smartcard-stored subkeys over which I have more granular control.

There is no urgent reason for this transition other than the fact that my old
key is expiring, which makes this as convenient a time as any. My hope is that
I will be able to manage my key more effeciently going forward with this new
setup and new workflow.

The old key will still expire as scheduled. I prefer all new correspondence to
be encrypted with the new key, and I will be making all signatures with the new
key going forward.

This transition document is signed with the new key, and the new key is signed
with the old key. Together this should verify the transition.

My old key, from which I am transitioning away, is:

To fetch the new key from the keyservers, including both pgp.mit.edu and the
sks pool, run:

    gpg2 --recv-key 0xDBCE2CD7D0E2F991
