Работа студента-математика, ровно как и работа любого математика (который, к слову, и сам всегда должен оставаться учеником), должна быть самостоятельной. Лекции и книги — это лишь рекомендации, стимулы к самой работе, приглашения к ней: математик должен пропускать все сквозь себя, должен ко всему подходить критически и не принимать ничего, что он бы мог посчитать не обоснованным строго.
