Thunderdome is a weekly FT-10 (First To 10) competition hosted by New Challenger. The winner of the set is crowned and receives the rare King of the Thunderdome role in the discord server, making all bow and pay respect in their presence. The following week, another competitor may challenge the current King for the Throne.
The Thunderdome - Mortal Kombat series is currently only available for PS4. It's ran weekly, every Sunday.

- The winner of each game (not set) is character locked for the next game. Loser can always change character. The current King may pick any character to start the set (they are not character locked week to week) and during any regular match loss.
- Competitors for the week must be available in the discord 15min prior to start time to get everything started and streamed on time.
