Thank you!!!
I initially got error saying "connection refused" but after entering "cd ~
./mongod --repair" like it says in the notes...i was able to start!

Getting an error:

E: The method driver /usr/lib/apt/methods/https could not be found.
N: Is the package apt-transport-https installed?

Any ideas?

Not sure, are you using the original version of c9 from here?

Not working for me in c9. I keep getting the "Unable to correct problems, you have held broken packages."

be sure to run ./mongod from ~ directory and leave it running before running node app.js

is this the same when using visual studio code?

installation instructions vary for operating system, see mongodb docs

Not working for me in c9. I keep getting the "Unable to correct problems, you have held broken packages."

I fixed it, you now have 4.0.6
