The gnome factory is having issues! The gnome pipes have all been stolen. Because of the nationwide shortage of pipes, you have to find a way to make each room of the factory work again using what you can find around you.
The game looks somehow like a level editor. You see the inside of a factory room, with different "spawning points" for gnomes, and their desired destination points.
Using various items, you can impact their path and make them go to the right place.
For bonus points, use the least amount of objects to solve a level, and make your solution as fast as possible.
Win by "solving" the level: every color of gnome should attain their goal at least one without human interaction.
Technically, you can't lose, except if you get bored and skip the level.
Magnets attract or repulse gnomes, depending on which side of the magnet they stand.
Magnets are very powerful, but they are costly, use them with care!
Springs will send gnomes jumping high in the air, or just propel them in a horizontal fashion.
Be careful though, as a gnome hitting a wall too fast will reduce it to sauce!
Mattress blocks allow you to soften the fall of gnomes and make sure they don't end up squashed.
Available on certain floors only, portals will teleport gnomes from one point to another. Due to energy limitations, portals cannot be placed to far apart.
Thanks to state of the art cryogenic technology, you can freeze gnomes to preserve the taste, uh, I mean safety of your gnomes while they happily travel through the factory's floors.
While frozen, gnomes will be immune to everything spiky, and they will glide on pretty much every material.
