Headline: Graphical presentation of activity details can be improved

Description:

In the activity details screen, "Charts" tab, the following improvements can be applied for best the user experience:

Currently, the screen looks like this:

Suggested improvements:

  1. Chart "Time in heart rate zones" can be brought closer to chart "Heart rate". Currently, there are several other charts between them; grouping them closer together makes reading and interpreting results easier.

  1. Type of chart "Time in heart rate zones" can be changed to piechart. Currently, the chart is drawn as 5 bars, each representing an unidentified amount, filled to some percentage. Interpretation of this drawing is difficult. If changed to piechart, the percentage is easy to interpret at one glance.

  1. Chart "Heart rate" can have secondary scale showing the heart rate zone. For example, the background can have a color shade similar to the colors in chart "Time in heart rate zones", this way making it easy to interpret at what point in training the heart rate was in which zone.

  • Improvement #1: effort trivial (just moving the charts around), effect significant
  • Improvement #2: effort easy (changing type of chart), effect very significant
  • Improvement #3: effort harder (adding dynamic background), effect significant
