| This Is all speculation but a lot of players have reported this being the case, myself included. So I thought I would write a guide to it for anyone who doesn't know this. | |
| In Forsaken there are multiple softcaps, 500 / 520 / 540 / 560 & probably 580. With this in mind you are going to want to do your powerful gear activities in a specc order to maxi-mize your power gain. A simple thing to remember. When your power is below the caps, you will gain significantly from powerful gear drops, when above the caps you will only gain +Vs to your average light level. | |
| The powerful gear drops are assigned to certain caps: | |
| Crucible !Strikes I Daily Story Missions I Gambit I Flashpoint I Whatever the daily powerful gear drop is I Clan XP INOT the clan bounties)! Ikora's 20 bounties. These are all 520 capped. Huge gains before 520, only +Vs after you are 520. |
