@rickmed, those are the ones I currently like. I like the dark themes as I find it easier on the eyes. There's tonnes though, https://marketplace.visualstudio.com/search?term=themes&target=VSCode .

VS Code 1.9 is supposed to ship this, but for now if you want a code lens that shows references to methods (like in C#), you can get it today via TypeLens in the VS Code Marketplace or you can also grab the VS Code Insider's build, VS Code Insider's Builds

My setup depends on machine and style of work. Here are my go-to plugins (main machine):

  • prettier
  • import cost
  • vscode-icons
  • EditorConfig
  • hipsum
  • eslint

I keep it lean and mean.

Current Theme: DesertEx (I swap frequently though)

versionLens for npm packages is pretty useful if not using david, greenkeeper etc
