India is country of really bad salesman
-
Do that extra 5%, that is what really differs from you from the rest
-
What do people want
-
Will they pay for it?
-
Core need is to be curious and see if it can be done. And the only way by which I canknow if it can be done is through applying it in the form of business
-
Business is the application of knowledge as knowledge in itself is not valuable unless its applied to solve problems
-
India is filled with too many gyanis, very very few people actually take the step to apply that knowledge and test it
What is India in 2060 gonna look like?
-
either very bright or very dark
-
because of the advent of internet, this world has become a really big superconductor
- if a joke gets popular in the US, everyone comes to know about it instantly. World is super highly connected
- same with innovations. they also spready very very fast
- sometimes, these innovations take away the jobs as well
- India doesn't have a good enough education system to steer its way to drive curiosity in the minds of young people
- People of India still don't understand the impact that automation could make, and how it will impact the millions of trivial jobs that India is popular of
- For instance, India is among the largest, if not the largest hub of menial jobs. People in the developed countries generally outsource these menial jobs to people in India (and other developing countries) and focus on the more important things themselves
- The job loss will impact thse menial jobs the most
-
the countries biggest curse is that a large population is of job seekers
- if you look at google trends
-
largest employer of the world is inefficiency
- and if you remove inefficiency, those millions and millions of jobs are gone in a sec
-
What can be done to turn around all this?
-
It is difficult. India is trying to play the game of capitalism, but the blood is of socialism
-
Capitalism vs Socialism
-
The country is more status seeking than wealth seeking
-
Status driven societies fundamentally dislikes anyone going up (the popular crab story)
-
Wealth driven society is way more collaborative
talent, audacity, money and product mindset
-
We need to have the right role models, and how do we get the right role models?
-
By making those category of people the heroes of our country, the explorers
-
you have to question every single thing. Unless you've questioned every single thing, you'll be always manipulated.
-
The human brain doesn't like to spend energy. It needs quick and easy answers.
-
Therefore, the first tendency should be to reject that shortcut answer and ask a deeper question
-
Otherwise we'll keep switching from one conspiracy theory to another
-
This is another big problem that India has, we've never been trained to think critically
What's a business? Money is what we pay to somebody or a product to make it easy to achieve what we want
