How to black tie

Jacket

  1. Peak lapel / shawl collar
  2. Cut away collar
  3. No vents
  4. Ticket pocket - at an angle
  5. Pocket square
  6. Absolutley no double breasted

Shirt

  1. Conventional collar
  2. Marcella Evening Shirt - with studs

Trousers

  1. Cuff on the trouser
  2. Reverse pleats

The rest

  1. No cummerbund
  2. Medium bow tie
  3. Plain black shoes - preferably patent shoes

How to wear

Always leave the bottom button undone Show a little bit of cuff - sleeves should be a litle bit short Black knot links
