$ ssh remote-host "epmd -names"
epmd: up and running on port 4369 with data:
name some_node at port 58769
Note the running on port
for epmd
itself and the port of the node you're interested in debugging. Reconnect to the remote host with these ports forwarded:
$ ssh -L 4369:localhost:4369 -L 58769:localhost:58769 remote-host

Locate the section for your github remote in the .git/config
file. It looks like this:
[remote "origin"]
fetch = +refs/heads/*:refs/remotes/origin/*
url = [email protected]:joyent/node.git
Now add the line fetch = +refs/pull/*/head:refs/remotes/origin/pr/*
to this section. Obviously, change the github url to match your project's URL. It ends up looking like this:
# GNU Screen - main configuration file
# All other .screenrc files will source this file to inherit settings.
# Author: Christian Wills - [email protected]
# Allow bold colors - necessary for some reason
attrcolor b ".I" | |
# Tell screen how to set colors. AB = background, AF=foreground
