Not amazingly well. Obviously I stuck to the calendar events outlined by Turing. As far as my own calendar events I added (work time, no-code times, etc), I was kind of all over the place. I found the current chaotic nature of the world seeping it's way into my day-to-day, and struggled to maintain routine. I am planning to improve on this by starting with very strict no-code and going to bed times.
I think I need to set aside more time to review technical concepts (such as our CS lesson), as I didn't do that enough this week and therefore feel fuzzy on the concepts we learned.
Feeling very appreciative of my cohort and our ability to communicate. Same with my project team; we had consistent team stand-ups at 8:30am every day and stayed on top of communicating our current tasks, struggles, and goals. I appreciate everyone's ability to adapt to our current situation (working remotely, the world unsure of it's future).
I struggled a bit to stay focused this week, and found the distractions of being home and keeping up with world events more tempting that I wish. I plan to try and use this time of self reflection to find some perspective and attempt to limit those distractions in my head.
pretty well! Our project team laid out some times that we would meet that I did add to my calendar and stuck to, as well as adding my own work time into it. I took more poms and was less distracted.
not as of right now. Need to add a few more work time slots.
I am appreciative of my project team for our good communication, as well as the Turing faculty for keeping things organized and smooth during this difficult time. One win was learning a bit of back end and implementing that into the project.
I had some family issues that caused me to miss the CS lesson, so that crunched me on time a little bit as I played catch up. Other than that, this week was pretty smooth.
I stuck to my calendar very well this week my only hiccups involved moving things around because of job-stuff (phone interviews).
I am waiting to hear about a time for a follow up phone interview, so I will add that to my calendar once I find out.
Definitely appreciative of my new project team as well as my instructors for keeping us excited and motivated for our new project. My new team has had great communication so far and I am excited to get to work on it.
Struggled to stay motivated with the job hunt a little bit. Even though I had an interview I was not very proactive about the search. Luckily, I had a meeting with Ryan Frank and he helped me get back on track and gave me some tips and tools.
