The Ubuntu version used is 16.04, but it should be easily adapted to other Ubuntu flavors or even other Linux distros.
sudo add-apt-repository ppa:webupd8team/sublime-text-3
sudo apt-get update
sudo apt-get install sublime-text-installer
- The ease one: hit
Ctrl + Shipt + P
, typeInstall Package Control
and choose it to install. Wait some seconds and that's all. - The hard one: You may get a installation script from the Package Control website to install it through the Sublime Console. Choose the script for version 3. Copy and paste in in the console and hit enter, wait a little while and you're done.
To install a plugin via Package Control, hit Ctrl + Shift + P
, type Install Pakcage
, and chose Package Control: Install Package
After a little while you should see a list of plugins available. Just type the plugin's name, choose it, wait while it gets installed and you're done
