Add multiple push URLs to a single git remote

Sometimes you need to keep two upstreams in sync with eachother. For example, you might need to both push to your testing environment and your GitHub repo at the same time. In order to do this simultaneously in one git command, here's a little trick to add multiple push URLs to a single remote.

Once you have a remote set up for one of your upstreams, run these commands with:

git remote set-url --add --push [remote] [original repo URL]
git remote set-url --add --push [remote] [second repo URL]

Once set up, git remote -v should show two (push) URLs and one (fetch) URL. Something like this:

Migrate repo from GitLab to GitHub Full blog post @ http://ruby.zigzo.com/2015/03/23/moving-from-gitlab-to-github/
# Assume we are in your home directory
cd ~/
# Clone the repo from GitLab using the `--mirror` option
$ git clone --mirror [email protected]:mario/my-repo.git
# Change into newly created repo directory
$ cd ~/my-repo.git
# Push to GitHub using the `--mirror` option. The `--no-verify` option skips any hooks.

Single page app addthis api

#API for single page app use

###addthis.layers.refresh()

  • Updates the share URL of all floating tools (sharing sidebar, for instance) to the current URL
  • Creates inline tools on any elements that do not yet have a tool rendered for it

I can see someone with a single page app doing one of two scenarios:

//always refresh on URL change
