This Privacy Policy explains how Habit Tracker ("the app"), developed by Emil Johansson, collects, uses, and protects your information.

When you create an account, we collect:

- A display name (optional, shown on the leaderboard)

When you use the app, we store:
- Your habit tasks and schedules
- Daily completion records
- Your current habit streak

2. How We Use Your Information

Your data is used solely to provide the app's functionality:
- Authenticating you to the app
- Storing and syncing your habit data across devices
- Displaying your streak on the leaderboard (only if you have a streak greater than 0)

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with third parties for marketing purposes.

3. Data Storage

Your data is stored securely using Supabase (supabase.com), a third-party backend service. Data is stored on servers in the European Union. Supabase's privacy policy can be found at https://supabase.com/privacy

4. Data Retention

Your data is retained for as long as your account exists. You can request deletion of your account and all associated data at any time by contacting us (see section 7).

5. Security

We use industry-standard security measures including:
- Encrypted authentication tokens stored in your device's secure storage
- Row-level security policies ensuring users can only access their own data
- HTTPS for all data in transit

6. Children's Privacy

The app is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children under 13.
