Extending the expiration of my Signing subkey(s)

Extending subkey expiration

  1. Mount master keys flashdrive

    truecrypt

  2. Extend expiry of all keys

    gpg \
 --homedir /mnt/truecrypt1/gnupg \
 --edit-key \
 7F87DE445AE7A7EC3638860A20299C6982D938FB
    • key N...
    • expire...
    • save

  3. Update public servers, and refresh back down

    gpg \
  --homedir /mnt/truecrypt1/gnupg \
  --keyserver pgp.mit.edu \
  --send-keys \
  7A4F38C201F43F111C95A9E575481C55CEC8925D

    gpg \
 --keyserver pgp.mit.edu \
 --recv-keys \
 7A4F38C201F43F111C95A9E575481C55CEC8925D

  4. Update private key on this machine

    gpg \
  --homedir /mnt/truecrypt1/gnupg \
  --export-secret-subkeys \
 7F87DE445AE7A7EC3638860A20299C6982D938FB | gpg --import
