I didn't notice I was supposed to pay on the 1st because the lease
said I already paid for rent until 8/13.

What is the amount due? Can I stop at your office tomorrow morning to
drop a check? Would I pay a late fee then?

Hi Pedro,

 

I mentioned in approval e-mail and then in another e-mail that rent is due on 1st. You are not paying any late fee if you pay no later then 3rd calendar day of the month. If you come tomorrow, it will be 4th of the month and late fee will be automatically assessed. You can stop by any BofA branch to deposit money, or just come to our office today before 6PM. Let me know if you need our account # to deposit your rent in BofA branch toda=y.

Well, I do appreciate this friendly reminder giving me 2 hours and a
half to leave my work and go home grab my checkbook, but I'm not sure
I'll be able to make it.

Can you not override this automatically added fee one time?
How much is the fee?
I will draw you a happy penguin if you can do me a favor and take the
payment tomorrow morning.

I will do it this one and only time. But you will owe me this happy penguin face)) We usually do not send any reminder to tenants))

The late fee charge is 8% of your rent.

BTW if you have BofA account, you can do immediate online transfer.

 

I guess I'll see you tomorrow early morning. Or, you can try calling our office after 6 tonight, and if someone is still here, you can stop by tonight.
