darcs get seemed to not work when the target directory was on an AppleTalk file share

The normal (non-debug) output:

Directory '/Volumes/peterhil/Programming/Lisp/_Web/_Frameworks/UnCommonWeb/ucw-core' already exists, creating repository as '/Volumes/peterhil/Programming/Lisp/_Web/_Frameworks/UnCommonWeb/ucw-core_0'
Converting old-fashioned repository to hashed format...

Fetching a hashed repository would be faster. Perhaps you could persuade
the maintainer to run darcs optimize --upgrade with darcs 2.4.0 or higher?

Finished getting.
