When switching into Big Picture mode in steam it prompts for installing the Game Input drivers but fails unless SIP is disabled.

Disabling SIP from Recovery Mode helps for installing the drivers and getting Steam Input working inside Big Picture, but still no luck with Wizard of Legend.

:(

Maybe Steam will publish a better fix for Contigent 99 will figure out what needs to be done to get it work.
