- Remove large scale code generation and replace with snippets.
- Remove Geeks Chat and replace with HipChat.
- More memory in dev machines.
- Flexible working hours.
- Remove GitBlit and replace with Github Enterprise edition.
- Remove Sanity and replace with Selenium C# based testing with Page Object Design Pattern, or Selenium IDE for non-programmer test engineers.
- Remove Geeks AMP and replace with JIRA, youTrack.
- Ability to remote work.
- Keeping up to date on the latest technologies.
- MVC, EF, DI, Mocking.
- Enforce SOLID principles.
- Ensure technology used is transferable knowledge.
- Employing Software Developers with knowledge on MVC, Entity Framework, Dependency Injection.
- Being able to work with people who have the same opinions and ideas as me rather than developers with no Computer Science or similar background than me.
- Ability to use AngularJs with new projects, that aren't being limited because of generated m# markup and webforms.
- Working with people who want to work with MVC and already know MVC and are passionate about this for Web Projects.
- Xamarin mobile projects for diversity.
- The 1 hour training session to be used for anything as long as its programming related.
- Being able to pick and choose the training I want to watch.
- Apply the repository pattern
- Remove the Geeks Event driven ActiveRecord pattern.
- Using more Cloud based services like Azure as part of our standard deployment process.
- Incorporate services, abstractions and unit testing as a first class citizen over sanity.
- I want an enjoyable WORKING experience, not recreational experience. The games are great, but it's of no interest to me.
