Adventurer's Contract: Operation Emerald Peak

Issued By: The Eldarwood Dominion Council

Objective: Secure and Hold Emerald's Peak

Context

The Eldarwood Dominion is in urgent need of securing the mining routes through the Oreheart Mountains for the establishment of a critical railroad network. Our efforts have been continuously thwarted by the formidable Bloodtusk Orc Tribe, who have entrenched themselves at Emerald's Peak. This location has proven to be a strategic military stronghold, and all attempts at negotiation and previous military efforts have failed.

Primary Tasks

  1. Secure Emerald's Peak: The adventurers are tasked with dislodging the Bloodtusk Orc Tribe from their encampment at Emerald's Peak.
  2. Raise the Red Signal Fire: Upon securing the location, raise a red signal fire at the highest point to signal the Dominion forces.
  3. Hold the Outpost: Defend and hold the outpost against any counterattacks for 2 hours until reinforcements from the Eldarwood Dominion arrive.

Additional Information:

  • The Bloodtusk Orc Tribe is known for their fierce combat skills and knowledge of the mountain terrain.
  • The tribe has fortified Emerald's Peak with traps and lookout points.
  • Subtlety, strategy, and strength will be necessary to successfully complete this mission.

Rewards:

  • Significant monetary compensation upon successful completion: 2000 GP.
  • Recognition and potential further contracts from the Eldarwood Dominion.
