Terms of Service for Strange Reminder

Last Updated: August 1, 2026

Please read these Terms of Service ("Terms") carefully before using the Strange Reminder mobile application ("Application"). By installing or using the Application, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing, or accessing Strange Reminder, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not install or use the Application.

2. License and Scope of Use

Subject to these Terms, Strange Reminder grants you a personal, revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to install and use the Application on any iOS device that you own or control, in accordance with the Apple App Store Terms of Service.

3. Local Data and Responsibility

  • Local Storage: All reminder data, schedules, notes, and checklists created within the Application are stored locally on your device.
  • Data Backups: You are solely responsible for backing up your device and data. Strange Reminder does not store or maintain cloud backups of your data.
  • Deletion: Deleting the Application will remove all locally stored data associated with Strange Reminder from your device.

4. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Application is provided on an "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" basis without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.

Strange Reminder does not warrant that:

  • The Application will function uninterrupted or error-free.
  • Local notifications will fire with 100% timeliness in all OS battery-saver or background restriction states managed by iOS.

5. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, in no event shall Strange Reminder or its developers be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses resulting from your use of or inability to use the Application.

6. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the jurisdiction in which the developer resides, without regard to its conflict of law principles.
