Epson Printer WiFi Setup

When your password contains an asterisk.

Quick Start

Use the physical number keypad to the right of the display screen to enter an asterisk.

Detail

When setting up an Epson printer for WiFi where you enter the password using a virtual keyboard built into the screen (similar to a TV remote) there is no option to enter an asterisk "*".

If your WiFi password contains an asterisk, this is an obvious problem.

While the virtual keyboard on the Epson printer does not contain an asterisk, there is a physical keypad on the right of the printer (next to the display screen) where you can press the asterisk button just like on a phone!

Note, a key to enter an asterisk is missing. Use the physical number keypad next to the display screen instead!
