Making an audio clip of someone sounding like a Dalek

The steps below were based on the information provided in a blog post at Richard Loxley Ltd

Pre-requisites

Ring Modulator Effect

You may need to adjust the Modulation frequency and/or Pulse bias values below to get better results

  • Modulation frequency: 30.0 to 60.0 Hz
  • Amount: 100 percent
  • Waveform: 0 (sin)
  • Pulse bias: 0 to 3 percent

Distortion

You may need to adjust the Distortion amount and Output level values below to get better results

  • Distortion type: Hard Overdrive
  • Distortion amount: 15.0
  • Output level: 60.0
