Big is a nifty project that allows hackers to make slides easily using HTML

What it lacks is Markdown. Everybody loves Markdown.
Here we go: http://code.artemis.cat/big-gist.
This little extension uses GitHub's Gists.
Just append the gist id to the URL of the service. For example: http://big.artemis.cat/36915d881a0ad16166f9.

Using Markdown with Big is very simple: your slides are written in Markdown, and separated by "---" separators.
If you want to specify a duration for a slide, just put a numer of seconds after the separator, it will act on the slide located before the separator.
When you put an image in a slide, it will be used as the background of the slide.
What else? Standard Markdown should be fully supported. To use your slides, go to http://big.artemis.cat/[Gist_id] and profit.
If you are designing your slides, you might want to avoid caching. Use http://big.artemis.cat/nocache/[Gist_id].
