I know the problem is apple / spidermonkey related - but I don't have a fix for it yet. Changing the include to point to the new apple specified location gets it through the compile phase, but the resulting .so still has a linking problem (something to do with apple's code fragment manager). At runtime, riak (erlang_js) will get a runtime error complaining of expecting a flat namespace.
I'm assuming you are also having a problem with this same error under xcode 4.3?
Was thinking of trying to add both changed include path and the flat namespace options (https://developer.apple.com/library/mac/#documentation/Darwin/Reference/Manpages/man1/ld.1.html) to see if that fixes it, but I haven't gotten to it yet. Dizzy may have gotten farther as well since I first brought it up.
@mirell figured out yesterday if you link /Developer to /Applications/XCode.app/Contents/Developer it resolves the problem.
for me, that only fixed the compiler problem; it is the same as fixing the include path. let me know if riak actually starts for you - (it did not for me).
It does start for me.
sudo ln -sf /Applications/Xcode.app/Contents/Developer /Developer
Looks like I'm a year behind the times. But I'm experiencing this now. And the sudo ln above didn't fix it.
Ever figure this one out?
