1. Mastering Functions

A function is a mapping from one set, called a domain, to another set, called the codomain. A function associates every element in the domain with exactly one element in the codomain. In Scala, both domain and codomain are types.

How to calculate your hourly rate as a freelancer?

Many people struggle with this question. Some just try to make as much as a full-time employee makes (and ignore that they won't be able to bill as many days). Others follow tips on startup related websites that suggest to ask for 20% to 50% more than an salary would yield (and ignore the additional risk and expenses they have).

Below you will find some numbers to help you calculate how high your hourly or daily rate should be.

Your yearly income should be higher than an average salary

You take more risk than full time employees, phases without income are likely

What it is	A JavaScript module exporting a single function.	An ESLint plugin.	An ESLint configuration.
What it does	Runs the code (string) through `prettier` then `eslint --fix`. The output is also a string.	Plugins usually contain implementations for additional rules that ESLint will check for. This plugin uses Prettier under the hood and will raise ESLint errors when your code differs from Prettier's expected output.	This config turns off formatting-related rules that might conflict with Prettier, allowing you to use Prettier with other ESLint configs like `eslint-config-airbnb`.

Exporting your 2FA tokens from Authy to transfer them into another 2FA application

IMPORTANT - Update regarding deprecation of Authy desktop apps

Past August 2024, Authy stopped supported the desktop version of their apps:
See Authy is shutting down its desktop app | The 2FA app Authy will only be available on Android and iOS starting in August for details.

And indeed, after a while, Authy changed something in their backend which now prevents the old desktop app from logging in. If you are already logged in, then you are in luck, and you can follow the instructions below to export your tokens.

If you are not logged in anymore, but can find a backup of the necessary files, then restore those files, and re-install Authy 2.2.3 following the instructions below, and it should work as expected.

Inglés

Tener un buen nivel de inglés es fundamental para poder trabajar con clientes extranjeros. El conocimiento del idioma tiene que mantenerse en el tiempo. Es como mantenerse en forma física; si lo dejas, lo pierdes. Personalmente aunque trabajo 100% en inglés desde hace bastantes años, intento crearme un entorno diario con el idioma para no perderlo:
