This is just a fork of https://gist.github.com/998441 - the original source. This fork is just for my own messing around.
This wouldn't work without raw TCP network socket access, so can't be done in client-side JS. Using node.js (server side) it would be done using this: http://nodejs.org/docs/v0.0.1/api.html#tcp_connection
