For info, Ubuntu 24 added a Desktop Entry by added the .desktop file to: /home/marc/.gnome/apps/jetbrains-idea-ce.desktop

Yeah, that's what I did.
I was expecting it to go in /usr/share/applications and it didn't - so for anyone wondering what the add Desktop Entry does under the hood I was sharing here.
