We are building an artificial intelligence for personal finance called Abe.
Projects we work on:
- Natural Language Processing: you’ll have a treasure trove of transactional finance and natural language data. Come use this data to create meaningful dialogue between Abe and the user which feels truly personal.
- Platform Development: come build on the most active messaging platforms in the world and make banking feel personal again.
- ACH Development: you’ll have an opportunity to dream up methods which help people get their banking activities done via a bot. Come build on the infrastructure that moves money between banks in the United States.
Abe.ai is looking for talented engineers with startup grit and a genuine enthusiasm for building next generation banking experiences for humans via bots. If you contribute to open source code, are a self-starter, and thrive in a flat management hierarchy then you'll fit right in.
Here's what you'll be doing each day:
You will work along side other engineers on a Rails API and a Node.js stack. Each day starts with a quick stand up meeting led by the COO. We work agile workflow and your responsibilities will be broken down into the smallest tasks possible allowing you to manage your expectation and ours more accurately. Our team values thoughtful and pragmatic approaches to problem solving with clean well tested code.

You have:
- Strong coding skills and Computer Science fundamentals
- Analytical problem solving skills
