How to increase the `GovMaxSquareSize` param on a Celestia testnet

GovMaxSquareSize

This gist will help you increase the GovMaxSquareSize param of the x/blob module on a Celestia testnet.

Prerequisites

1. Download and install celestia-appd v1.0.0-rc2

2. Run celestia-appd

   ./scripts/build-run-single-node.sh

3. In a seperate terminal tab

   export CELESTIA_APP_HOME=<copy from other terminal tab>
   export FROM=$(celestia-appd keys show validator --address --home $CELESTIA_APP_HOME)

Increase GovMaxSquareSize

1. Download proposal.json to a local file

2. Submit proposal

   celestia-appd tx gov submit-legacy-proposal param-change proposal.json --from $FROM --home $CELESTIA_APP_HOME --fees 21000utia

3. Vote on proposal

   celestia-appd tx gov vote 1 yes --from $FROM --home $CELESTIA_APP_HOME --fees 21000utia

4. Query all proposals

   celestia-appd query gov proposals

5. Query specific proposal

   celestia-appd query gov proposal 1
