My friend John shared this diet plan as a scanned image. It was was a bit scary to look at and had a couple of typos, so here it is as markdown. I'm not a doctor, dietitian or any other type of health professional, so please consult one before following this diet!

Weight-loss Diet Plan

Your weight should drop 20 pounds in two weeks. The basis of this diet is chemical, and it maintains your energy while reducing. Quantities are not very important except where indicated.

Some Rules

  1. No substitutes.
  2. Diet for 14 Days only and not one day longer.
  3. No alcoholic beverages or diet drinks. (Only water, coffee, and/or tea).
  4. Abstain from eating anything not included in this diet, but be sure to eat what is assigned rather than do without.
  5. Do not eat between meals
  6. All vegetables are allowed, all salads without oil, leans of meat, coffee and/or tea.
  7. NO POTATOES OR BANANAS.

2 Week Meal Plan

Breakfast: Same every morning - Grapefruit, one or two eggs and coffee.
Lunch: Dinner:
Monday: Fruit salad, anything you like as much as you like. Steak, tomatoes, lettuce, celery, cucumber, coffee.
Tuesday: Cold Chicken, tomatoes, grapefruit two eggs, salad, one piece dry toast, grapefruit, coffee.
Wednesday: Two eggs, tomatoes, coffee. two lamb chops, (or fish) celery, tomatoes, cucumber, coffee.
Thursday: Fruit salad, anything you like as much as you like. Steak, tomatoes, lettuce, celery, cucumber, coffee.
Friday: Eggs, spinach Broiled or boiled fish, salad, a piece of dry toast, grapefruit, coffee.
Saturday: Two eggs, spinach, coffee. Plenty of steak grilled, celery, cucumber, coffee
Sunday: Fruit salad, anything you like as much as you like. Chicken, tomatoes, grapefruit, carrots, cabbage, coffee.
Every day: 100mg Vitamin B-6 - 2-3 times per day Multi-vitamin - 2 per day

Shopping list:

  • Fruit: grapefruit, apps, oranges, pears, strawberries, tangerines
  • Eggs
  • Chicken breasts
  • canned tomatoes (or fresh tomatoes)
  • 2 cans spinach
  • 2 small steaks
  • tuna
  • Vegetables: 4 cucumbers, carrots, 1 cabbage
