Paste your phpinfo()
to http://xdebug.org/wizard.php and follow the installation steps
Create file xdebug.ini
to /etc/php/mods-available
and paste the following:
zend_extension = xdebug.so
xdebug.remote_enable=1
xdebug.remote_handler=dbgp
xdebug.remote_mode=req
xdebug.remote_host=localhost
xdebug.remote_port=9000
xdebug.var_display_max_depth = -1
xdebug.var_display_max_children = -1
xdebug.var_display_max_data = -1
xdebug.idekey = "PHPSTORM"
Then sudo ln -s /etc/php/mods-available/xdebug.ini /etc/php/7.0/fpm/conf.d/20-xdebug.ini
