Technology Enthusiast

I am a truly passionate and versatile engineer with 20 years of commercial experience. Revolving around Web & Java technologies mostly. Love to bite into the difficult problems.

Focused on writing clean, readable and testable code. I always ask myself whether the stuff I've just written will make sense to someone a year from now.

Sharing knowledge comes truly natural. I've hosted over 30 internal workshops covering topics like: Docker, Java, React, Redux, Firebase, Typescript, webpack, software engineering, git, bash, etc.

Skills

I've been using Java since version 1.1 (before Swing & Collections). I've started with JEE just when EJB3 and JPA came out, with all those cosy annotations replacing the XML hell of J2EE 1.4.
Thanks to an alternative JVM languages I've became familiar with functional programming well before the Java 8 release.
I do know the importance of clean code - I've been maintaining and expanding my commercial side project for 10 years now. Deep understaning of Docker - hosted several workshop. Familiar with Azure, AWS and Google cloud providers.
