Brew

brew install megatools

Compile from source

This was needed because some support for encrytped folders was missing.

Using the experimental release from https://megatools.megous.com/builds/experimental/

  • Dowload the desired version
  • cd <folder>
    • You might have to download some missing packages and link them to PKG_CONFIG_PATH. Eg:
      • nano ~/.zshrc
      • add :export PKG_CONFIG_PATH=/usr/local/opt/libffi/lib/pkgconfig:/usr/local/opt/openssl/lib/pkgconfig:$PKG_CONFIG_PATH

Running a command:

megatools

megatools dl

Must remove all escapes so the url is as such: https://mega.nz/#F!v5MBmLQY!Pv05QDWQityO8KO4bq4OaA (Kingdom of Heaven)

Full command: megatools dl 'https://mega.nz/#F!v5MBmLQY!Pv05QDWQityO8KO4bq4OaA'
