(C-x means ctrl+x, M-x means alt+x)
The default prefix is C-b. If you (or your muscle memory) prefer C-a, you need to add this to ~/.tmux.conf

From Meteor's documentation:
In Meteor, your server code runs in a single thread per request, not in the asynchronous callback style typical of Node. We find the linear execution model a better fit for the typical server code in a Meteor application.
This guide serves as a mini-tour of tools, trix and patterns that can be used to run async code in Meteor.
Sometimes we need to run async code in Meteor.methods
. For this we create a Future
to block until the async code has finished. This pattern can be seen all over Meteor's own codebase:
require 'spec_helper'
feature "Login" do | |
scenario "remembered user" do
password = "12345678" | |
user = create(:user, password: password)
access_protected_page_should_ask_to_login
current_path.should eq login_path |

# CORS header support | |
# | |
# One way to use this is by placing it into a file called "cors_support"
# under your Nginx configuration directory and placing the following
# statement inside your **location** block(s):
# | |
# include cors_support;
# | |
# As of Nginx 1.7.5, add_header supports an "always" parameter which |
$ echo "deb http://apt.postgresql.org/pub/repos/apt/ precise-pgdg main" > /etc/apt/sources.list.d/pgdg.list
$ wget --quiet -O - https://www.postgresql.org/media/keys/ACCC4CF8.asc | sudo apt-key add -
$ sudo apt-get update
$ sudo apt-get install postgresql-9.3 postgresql-contrib-9.3
you should succesfully installing postgresql 9.3.2 on your machine.
#Heroku, Ruby on Rails and PhantomJS
In this post, I’m going to show you how to modify an existing Ruby on Rails app running on Heroku’s Cedar stack to use PhantomJS for screen scraping. If you’ve never heard of PhantomJS, it’s a command-line WebKit-based browser (that supports JavaScript, cookies, etc.).
Let’s get started. This is a high-level overview of the required steps:
I have moved this over to the Tech Interview Cheat Sheet Repo and has been expanded and even has code challenges you can run and practice against!
