- RaidBots - Allows you to sim your character to find the best gear combinations, generate stat weights, etc. (requires Simulationcraft addon)
- Warcraft Logs - Combat analysis for raid encounters. Gives your percentile ranking relative to the other players of your class and iLvL around the world. Someone in the guild might already be recording these but if not (or if you just want to upload them yourself) the getting started guide is helpful.
- WoWAnalyzer - If you or the guild is recording logs you can plug a WL report into this app and get an analysis of where you're screwing up. Example.
- Twitch Desktop App - Best tool for installing / updating your addons. After installing go to Mods -> World of Warcraft.
- Icy Veins - Class guides.
- Class Discords - Class resources and help from the community.
- BigWigs Bossmods - Raid warnings and timers. Can use DBM (Deadly Boss Mods) as an alternative, both are good.
- DejaCharacterStats - Puts iLvL visual over items in your bag and improves the character stats page. Example.
- Dominos - Hide default action bars, create additional ones, resize and improve visibility, etc. Example. I use this to create a UI that emphasizes parts of my rotation that are important and to group together spells. If I don't do this I get lost in default bars looking to see if something is off CD.
- GTFO - Yells at you when you're standing in something bad during raid.
- LittleWigs - BigWigs but for 5 man content.
- O Item Level (OiLvL) - Gives
/oilvlcommand which gets the ilvl of everyone in the current group. Also shows things like who has enchants, sockets, etc. Has an annoying "show item level on tooltip" though that slows down your game so be sure to turn that off. - Prat 3.0 - Better chat experience, allows more customization, copy paste, etc.
- Simulationcraft - Gives
/simccommand to generate Simulationcraft string to use with RaidBots (or Simulationcraft the desktop app). - Skada Damage Meter - DPS/healing meters for your UI.
- TomTom - Gives you the
/way x ycommand that will place a dot on your map and show a directional arrow. Really useful for finding things, often you'll search a quest on wowhead that you're stuck on and people will give TomTom coordinates. - TradeSkillMaster

- Disclaimer: this is not for the faint of heart but is without a doubt the most productive way to use the AH and professions once you learn.
- Requires additional standalone desktop app that scans AH when you're not in game.
- If you want to learn this addon, I recommend watching at least the first two parts of this tutorial series.
- I'd be happy to do a screenshare and help you get it set up for basic selling.
- World Quest Tracker - Makes world quests easier to browse on the map.
