Pasta with pesto
Ingredients:
* 500g spinach tagliatelle
* 2 cups tightly packed fresh basil leaves
* 4 cloves garlic, peeled and chopped
* 1/3 cup pine nuts
* 1 cup freshly grated parmesan cheese
* 3/4 cup olive oil
* salt and pepper
Method:
1. Add tagliatelle to a large pan of rapidly boiling water. Cook until tender. Drain well and return pasta to pan. While pasta is cooking, put basil, pine nuts and garlic in a food processor and blend until finely ground. Add cheese and process until well combined.
2. With motor running, slowly pour olive oil into food processor. Add enough pesto sauce to pasta to coat well. Season.
