Users are invited to join a group chat via SMS by a friend who is already using Roamerly.
[Roamerly]: Kate invited you to a group chat with Roamerly AI. Reply YES to join or STOP to decline. Msg & data rates may apply.
Users must reply with "YES" in order to opt in and participate in the group chat. No further messages are sent to the invited user unless they explicitly opt in.
By replying "YES", users consent to:
- Receiving group SMS messages from the other participants and the Roamerly AI
- Occasional AI-generated suggestions (e.g., travel ideas, reminders, polls)
- The ability to communicate within that group via SMS
Messages are always conversational and initiated or prompted by the group — never unsolicited marketing or promotions.
At any time, users can text STOP to the Roamerly number to:
- Immediately leave the current group chat
- Prevent further messages from Roamerly unless they opt in again by sending
START
Upon receiving STOP, Roamerly sends the following confirmation:
[Roamerly]: You’ve been removed from the chat and will no longer receive messages. Text START to rejoin anytime.
Roamerly only collects phone numbers for identification and message routing.
No additional data is stored or shared externally.
Users are not enrolled in any marketing lists, and their data is never sold or transferred to third parties.
