A detailed overview of how I installed Arch Linux on my Lenovo ThinkPad X1 Extreme (Gen 1), having never installed Arch before.

DISCLAIMER

I am not responsible for any damages, loss of data, system corruption, or any other mishap you may somehow cause by following this guide.

This is mainly a step-by-step reminder/log for myself of how I installed Arch on my laptop. I am putting this out there in case it is useful for someone else, it is not intended to be an official guide. As a result, you may find that this guide is very tedious or lists a lot of unnecessary/intuitive steps or just straight up does things in a way that is considered bad practice. Apart from the latter, this is intentional, as I did not find these steps intuitive at all when

In order to work the Bose QC35 Headset Bluetooth do the following:
- sudo pacman -Syu pulseaudio-alsa pulseaudio-bluetooth bluez bluez-libs bluez-utils
- turn off bluetooth from your computer

Comparison between tools that allow you to use ESLint and Prettier together.
prettier-eslint eslint-plugin-prettier eslint-config-prettier
What it is A JavaScript module exporting a single function. An ESLint plugin. An ESLint configuration.
What it does Runs the code (string) through prettier then eslint --fix. The output is also a string. Plugins usually contain implementations for additional rules that ESLint will check for. This plugin uses Prettier under the hood and will raise ESLint errors when your code differs from Prettier's expected output. This config turns off formatting-related rules that might conflict with Prettier, allowing you to use Prettier with other ESLint configs like eslint-config-airbnb.
How to use it Either calling the function in your code or via [prettier-eslint-cli](https://github.co

Get the share counts from various APIs

Share Counts

I have always struggled with getting all the various share buttons from Facebook, Twitter, Google Plus, Pinterest, etc to align correctly and to not look like a tacky explosion of buttons. Seeing a number of sites rolling their own share buttons with counts, for example The Next Web I decided to look into the various APIs on how to simply return the share count.

If you want to roll up all of these into a single jQuery plugin check out Sharrre

Many of these API calls and methods are undocumented, so anticipate that they will change in the future. Also, if you are planning on rolling these out across a site I would recommend creating a simple endpoint that periodically caches results from all of the APIs so that you are not overloading the services will requests.
