Wagtail on AWS Lambda, with Zappa

Wagtail on AWS Lambda, with Zappa

Aim

A demonstration of Wagtail running on AWS Lambda + API Gateway using Zappa for deployment.

This is not a Production solution, it is an insecure setup focusing solely on getting Wagtail to run on Lambda in the simplest way possible (and at zero cost if it is not used beyond this demonstration (or close to zero depending on how much you exercise the S3 bucket)).

caveat emptor!

Codesign gdb on OSX

Angular2 + JSPM cheat sheet

First time setup

  • install jspm beta: npm install -g jspm@beta
  • set up your project: jspm init
  • install dependencies: jspm install angular2 reflect-metadata zone.js es6-shim

This will create a jspm_packages folder, and a config.js file.

Open the config.js file - this file manages options for the System.js loader - tweak it as appropriate

Javascript for notifications (alerts) for Twitter Bootstrap
/*
I created the following javascript to use bootstrapt's notifications through Javascript.
If you like it you may consider adding it to bootstrapt. Feel free to modify if necessary.
Be sure you define a div #notification-area, where the notifications are going to be displayed by default.
I use it with jQuery 1.7.1 but it should work with older versions. Is also use jquery.hotkeys.js ( https://github.com/jeresig/jquery.hotkeys ) for block messages hotkeys
