World Clock for Dashing

World Clock

Requirements

This widget requires a library for the timezone manipulation, moment.js and moment-timezone.js and then also build the necessary data at moment-timezone-data

Then in assets/javascripts/application.coffee add the following three lines above #= require_directory .

#= require moment
#= require moment-timezone
#= require moment-timezone-data

To add a clock to your dashboard, modify this snippet:

<li data-row="3" data-col="6" data-sizex="1" data-sizey="1">
  <div data-id="sebastopol" data-view="Worldclock" data-timezone="America/Los_Angeles" data-title="Sebastapol"></div>
</li>

Where data-timezone is a timezone string corresponding to data in moment-timezone-data.js and data-title is what you'd like to see in your dashboard.

For those folks trying to get this widget to work, I recommend taking a look at the instructions for this similar widget: https://gist.github.com/weilu/7688343

The setup is very similar, the description considerably less terse and with fewer omissions, and the discussion is much more active.
