Sebastian Korfmann is a seasoned Web-Engineer from Germany, working for Bulletproof Networks in Australia and based in Ho-Chi-Minh City, Vietnam.

He looks back on five years of professional Software Engineering and is keen to share his experience with things related to Ruby, Rails & Docker. Hence, he's running "Saigon.rb" & "Docker Saigon" and got involved in organizing various tech workshops.

Microservice Foundation - Docker & CoreOS

Abstract

Converting a monolithic hosting environment into a flexible microservice platform can actually be a lot of fun. I'm going to share our experience of evolving our internal infrastructure to a platform based on Docker & CoreOS.

Notes

This talk is based on the experience we've made along the way of evolving the internal hosting infrastructure of Bulletproof Networks. I haven't given the talk, yet. However, I'll propose this talk to other conferences and will give a variant of this talk at user groups.
