VueJS Best Practices Guide

Deverus Vue.js Style Guide

Guide for developing Vue.js applications.

v. 0.0.1

Vue.js is an amazing framework, which can be as powerful as Angular or React, the two big heavy hitters in the world of front-end frameworks.

However, most of Vue's ease-of-use is due to the use of Observables - a pattern that triggers re-renders and other function calls with the reassignment of a variable.

Using multiple github accounts with ssh keys

Problem

I have two Github accounts: oanhnn (personal) and superman (for work). I want to use both accounts on same computer (without typing password everytime, when doing git push or pull).

Solution

Use ssh keys and define host aliases in ssh config file (each alias for an account).

How to?

  1. Generate ssh key pairs for accounts and add them to GitHub accounts.

Output a Zelda-style heart meter for your MacBook's battery level. On the command line. Based on an idea from @stephencelis, executed by myself. For a tmux version, see https://gist.github.com/4324139
#!/usr/bin/env zsh
#
# Works best with blinking text; the last heart will blink
# when you have less than 25% of your battery life remaining.
BATTERY="$(pmset -g ps | awk 'NR==2' | perl -pe 's/.*?(\d+)%.*/\1/')"
if [[ $BATTERY -lt 25 ]]; then
echo "\e[5;31m♥\e[0;31m♡♡\e[0m"
elif [[ $BATTERY -lt 50 ]]; then
