- What is your greatest strength and how do you know?
I think my greatest stregnth is probably my imagination - it allows me to fill in the blanks in areas where I don't do as well, it helps me create stories about concepts so that I can remember them, and it gives me insight into things I am trying to understand.
- How do you work best?
I work best when I have a very specific project that's part of a larger group project. I need a defined role and specific expectations. I also work best in an office, with driven, motivated people.
- What is your greatest area of improvement?
According to the Pairin survey, I'm extremely co-dependent and lack a sence of independence (reliant). While that wasn't fun to see, I do think that my need for approval has limited me in a lot of ways.
- How do you hope to maximize your strengths for your new career in software development?
I hope to use my imagination to come up with innovative solutions to difficult problems, and to empathize with the people I work with and the people I'm building a product for.
- How might knowing about your strengths and working preferences benefit you as a software developer?
I think it will help me know where I'll have challenges before they hit me head-on, so that I can strategize beforehand. It will also allow me to use the time at Turing to improve on the things I struggle with.
