This document is the game-plan for demoing Storyscript at GitHub Universe in November, 2019 at our Interactive Hangout center stage at the conference.

Give-Aways

  1. Storyscript Childrens Book featuring the journey of Inkie. From OMG to Storyscript.
  2. Stickers

First Encounter

  1. Use the Childrens Book as "soft-demo" going through the product with them.
    • The elevator pitch is in the book.
    • Each page will guide the user through the journey to our product.
  2. Give them the book. Capture their lead.
  3. Ask them "Would you like to see our zero-to-60 demo? We will launch an awesome app in under 30 seconds into Kubernetes from scratch." -- Show demo video on iPad.
  4. Ask them "Want to take it for a spin? invite them to take their laptop out and login through dashboard to launch an application.
  5. Ask them "May I help you write your first story?" Giving them ideas and inspiration.

Must do's

  1. Capture the lead ASAP.
  2. Make sure they get a book + sticker sheet (which may be stabled in book)

Recoreded Demo

Below is the step-by-step demo we will record to show the user.

  1. Start from the Dashboard
  2. Login with GitHub
  3. Click "Create first app"
  4. (Online IDE appears)
  5. Type in an awesome Storyscript (showing LSP and service discovery)
  6. Deploy (showing the benefits off)
  7. Show fake traffic to show some cool metrics
  8. Show Kubernetes configuration (this will be helpful to "prove" what we did automatically)
    • Diagram of your architecture
